Crock A Doodle on Walker Road has hundreds of ready-to-paint pottery pieces for about $24, and your piece is fired and ready within a week. On Drouillard Road, Windsor Craft Club lets you pick a station, from pottery painting to a charm bar, for $20 with no experience needed.
If you want a teacher beside you, Expressive Brush on Howard Avenue runs classes Thursday through Saturday in watercolor, acrylic, oil and fluid art. Ford City Potters, also on Drouillard, holds drop-in wheel classes Wednesday and Saturday for ages 13 and up.
