Junction Climbing Centre on Elias Street covers bouldering, top-rope and lead. J2 Bouldering on Blue Heron Drive costs $24, sets about 80 colour-coded problems, and runs a drop-in adult class Mondays at 7 p.m.

If the wall is a side dish, AeroSports on Wharncliffe Rd S puts a dual-zone rock wall next to the trampolines and runs GLOW Night on Tuesdays. East Park on Hamilton Road keeps its climbing in the Intencity building, so it works year-round.
